4 more days till the Due date!

Wow! It is almost time. I am ready to meet this little one and so is Jo. My mom got here on Tuesday night and it has been great. I haven't done dishes all week and mom did the laundry today! I LOVE IT!!! The help is much appreciated and is even better because it comes from my mom.

We are just in the waiting phaase right now. No action yet and just some contractions, nothing to really get excited about. I just want to make it to March 2nd and then he can come anytime. I am tired of working, but I think that has more to do with the fact that I am just tired from not sleeping well. I know Jo is ready for me to sleep and not move so much.

Hoping to add some pictured of Jo and I this weekend and then the next ones will be Bryce. I can't wait!!!

19 DAYS!! Wow that puts it in Perspective!

I just looked at the little ticker at the top of my page and was a little floored that it was only 19 more days till my due date. WOW!!! It seems like it is going a lot faster here at the end than I thought it would.
I had an appointment on Monday the 7th and another one on Monday the 14th. So far so good. No progression and Bryce is in the proper position.

We are really getting excited to meet him.

Less than 6 Weeks!!!

Wow, I thought this time would slow down and feel like it was moving at a snails pace. Lets just say I don't think so! These last two weeks have flown and I feel like we have so much more to do. Below are some pictures of the nursery. It is almost done, but I do have a few things to add. I need to get a lamp for the room and a shelf to put up and have things on. Other than that we are done with the nursery and it feels great.

Bryce has been moving around more and more or I am just feeling it more and more. He likes to kick me on the right side and punch down low. I just hope I am not black and blue inside from all his movements. The next appointment is Monday and then I get to start going every week. That sounds like so much fun (Ha Ha).

I know my mom is getting really excited and will be here on the 22nd of February so that she is here for the birth. I know he will not come before that or at least I hope so.

This is just getting really exciting and I can't wait to meet this little one!

Less than 8 weeks left!!!

It is getting so close and I am trying to wrap up some of the final things to make sure we are ready for this little one. Jo is trying to get a lot of his overnight trips over by mid February so that he can be home and not out in the field when Bryce decides it is time to join us.

We are almost done with our birth classes and they have been so worth it. You can only read so much, but having a professional in the field that will answer any question you have is great. It is a small class and we have a lot of fun. We are all having boys which is funny to me.

I have finally started to feel some of the pregnancy pains that people talk about, but I figure if this is all I have to endure to get him here I can do it. He finally made me poke out very noticeably and people are commenting. I feel very fortunate that I have been able to have such an uneventful pregnancy and have such great health. Jo has been wonderful and only laughs at me when I cry for no reason. We are both really excited for Bryce to be here, but do not want to rush him. I keep telling him everyday that he needs to wait till at least March 5, that way I don't have to go back to school till after Spring break and then only a few more weeks and I'll be out for the summer.

We made a decision about daycare today and I am really excited about it. It is only about 2 miles from our house and is small with not a lot of kids. She is a very nice lady and the place is very nice so I can feel comfortable with Bryce there.

Okay that is probably enough rambling today so I will sign off.

Catch up!

Okay I will definitely have to get better at this! We have had a busy month and are trying to get going on some things that we need for the house as well as the baby. We have the crib, the bassinet, carseat, and stroller. ALso we got lucky and I found a lady on Craigslist that had twins boys and was selling her 0-3 month clothes really cheap so I made the purchase and we have clothes so that Bryce Timothy won't be naked.

We have started birth classes and will be done with them on January 13th, 1 1/2 months before my due date. So far the one class we have had has been very informational and hope it continues this way.

We are getting ready for the holidays here. We decorated the tree today and put up the decorations outside so we are all done, now we just need to get a dining room table so when my parents come for Christmas we have something to eat dinner at.

Bab boy is going strong and very active. After my next appointment in a week I get to move to an appointment every two weeks. Yay!!! That means that we are getting closer and I can't wait.

 One wall right next to the window. The picture is his profile from his sonogram. It will be replaced with a family picture after he is here.

 Crib with his quilt over the back, we have the mattress now so it has made progress.

It's a BOY!!!!

Well we went on Thursday for our anatomy ultra sound and were able to find out that it is a boy! He was very shy at first and did not want to show the goods. She was able to measure everything even though he was extremely active. Similar to what he is being now. She then had me go and use the restroom and have a talk with baby. I guess it was a good talk because I came back and he had moved. We are really excited and I have already been shopping. The nursery is starting to come along and I will post pictures of the progress. The ones today are from our ultra sound. 1 is a profile shot and the other two are the money shot as she put it.

Another Week

Well another week down and many more to go! We took a trip up to Washington D.C. this weekend and spent all day at one of the Smithsonian Museums. It was a lot of fun, but also a really long day. Then on Sunday Jo cooked me a cheesecake for my birthday...it is my favorite and I believe that Jo makes the best. 

Jo was gone all week last week for training in South Carolina. I was so happy when he got home! It is hard to get anything done when he is gone.  He will be home for a few weeks which is exciting because he will be here when we find out what the baby is.  Of course he is suppose to be gone the next week too.

I will try to get some pictures on here of the belly pretty soon. So far not any weight gain but there has been a rearrangement of what was already there to make room for baby.
